Like you, people ask me all the time what’s keeping me busy.
We are going through a couple transitions at Grace which are keeping me busy, but the one that is keeping me busiest is my own. If you dont know already, i am transitioning into the role of Executive Pastor at Grace. We have been working through the transition for a while but the intensity is excellerated a bit due to budget season and a couple team lead position transitions. I have really enjoyed leading the connect team and some of my team is taking on new responsibilities to make this transition happen. This is allowing me to take on some additional responsibilites as well.
For the coming year i will assume the role of Associate Executive Pastor and we will disolve the Connect team.
Mike North is taking on all of creative arts which brings with it responsibility for weekend service programming, production and broadcast media in addition to oversite of Information Services. Curis works with Mike as the IS Manager and is taking on leadership of F1.
Jeff Stasko has fully transitioned all communications responsibilities and will continue with oversite of social media, web site, promotions, external media, print production and general communications.
Greg Ballard will be expanding his focus from FIT to a broader Next Steps oversite, responsible for FIT, Cafe, volunteerism and connecting people to their next steps.
In September we will also be transitioning spiritual development and KC onto our team as we welcome aboard new team leads in those areas.
Finally, Gerry will continue as our Facilities Manager and transition to the business office.
I am looking forward to the challenges and new experiences in the coming year and cant wait to share the things we are doing with you!
